The food was so good and you can taste how fresh the ingredients were by the looks , taste, and aroma. The butterfish melted in my mouth and the sashimi was unforgettable. The tempura was on point and not overly breaded. Service and ambiance was perfect. It was clear that people were enjoying the food and happy to be there.

What a great way to finish off a relaxing Father's Day than dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant . We always get a warm welcome like we're family no matter how busy they might be. We never worry about what on the menu because it's all great. We'll keep coming back.

Came on a Friday night and luckily there was a table ready, so we were able to get seated. It got crowded quickly. Server brought out edamame and bean sprout appetizer quickly and asked if we needed more time to order. We asked for a few more minutes. We ordered and food came pretty quickly. Food was hot and crispy. Super delicious. My only complaint was that the salad was bagged salad and some leaves of lettuce that I had were a little mushy, but the tempura and tonkatsu were all super crispy and hot! Small little place with a good amount of booths and tables. Servers are friendly and attentive.

It was my first time trying. My SO and our friend have been before. It was a Wednesday evening. Got there at 5:30pm and got seated. The setting has a good vibe to it. By 6pm, had people waiting for a table. We had the nabeyaki udon, tenzaru soba and I ordered the yosenabe. The dashi for the yosenabe was a little on the light side, but of course, it comes with ponzu to dip. It was ono. We all enjoyed our food. I wish I asked our server for her name because she was attentive and good fun. Talked and joked with her. She welcomed people as they walked in with a smile. A teen came in and said "Hi Aunty. Just two of us tonight". She replied with "Hi Bebeh, get da two seater table in the middle. Go ahead and take um". When you hear that kine talk, it's such a good feeling. You know what I mean? No doubt when I'm on the Windward side, I going again and again.
